Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our transfer and tour services.

Airport Transfers

Which airports do you serve?
We serve Belfast International Airport (BFS), George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD), and Dublin Airport (DUB). We also provide cross-border transfers between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
How do I find my driver at the airport?
Your driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a name board with your name clearly visible. If you have any difficulty, your driver's contact details are provided at the time of booking.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We monitor all flights using real-time tracking. If your flight is delayed, we adjust your pickup time accordingly at no extra charge. You pay nothing for airline-caused delays.
Are your airport transfer prices fixed?
Yes, all prices are fixed and agreed at the time of booking. There are no meters, no surge pricing, and no hidden extras. The price you see is the price you pay.
How early should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during peak season (June-September). We can usually accommodate bookings made within 24 hours, but earlier is always better.
Do you do airport transfers 24 hours a day?
Yes, we operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to cover all flight arrival and departure times.

Tours

Are your tours truly private?
Yes, absolutely. All our tours are completely private — your vehicle is exclusively for your group. We never add strangers to your tour.
Can I customise the tour itinerary?
Yes, all our tours are flexible and can be customised around your interests, pace, and schedule. Tell us your priorities and we'll build the tour around you.
What is included in the tour price?
All tour prices include the private vehicle, expert local guide, hotel pickup and drop-off, and all parking fees. Attraction admissions, lunch, and gratuities are not included unless specified.
How many passengers can you accommodate?
Our Mercedes V-Class comfortably seats up to 7 passengers. For larger groups, please contact us as we may be able to arrange additional vehicles.
Do I need to pre-book attraction tickets?
For some attractions — particularly Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Titanic Belfast — we strongly recommend pre-booking. We'll advise on this when you book your tour.
What language are tours conducted in?
All our tours are conducted in English.

Vehicle & Comfort

What vehicle do you use?
We operate a luxury Mercedes V-Class — the gold standard in private passenger transport. It is spacious, comfortable, immaculately clean, and equipped with climate control and USB charging points.
Can we store golf bags in the vehicle?
Yes, our Mercedes V-Class has ample boot space for golf bags and passenger luggage, comfortably accommodating up to 4 bags alongside luggage.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, child and infant seats are available on request at no extra charge. Please specify the ages of children when booking.
Is the vehicle wheelchair accessible?
Please contact us in advance regarding wheelchair accessibility, as this depends on the type of wheelchair or mobility aid. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Booking & Payment

How do I book?
Email us at Airporttransfersni@gmail.com with your travel dates, group size, and requirements. We will respond with a fixed-price quote within a few hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept payment by bank transfer and cash. Please ask about payment options when you make your booking enquiry.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please contact us at the time of booking for our current cancellation policy. We understand that travel plans can change and aim to be as flexible as possible.
Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend all visitors purchase comprehensive travel insurance before travelling. Our service is covered by public liability insurance.

Northern Ireland

Do I need a passport to travel between Belfast and Dublin?
No. There is no formal border checkpoint between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Citizens of other countries should check their specific visa requirements, but there is no passport control between the two jurisdictions.
What currency is used in Northern Ireland?
Northern Ireland uses the British Pound (£), not the Euro. If you are coming from the Republic of Ireland, change your currency before the border.
Is Northern Ireland safe to visit?
Yes, Northern Ireland is a safe and welcoming destination. The Troubles ended in 1998. The political murals in Belfast are now tourist attractions in a peaceful city.
What is the best time to visit Northern Ireland?
Northern Ireland is a year-round destination. June-August offers the best weather and longest days, but can be crowded. May, September, and October are excellent shoulder season options with fewer tourists.
